Formed some 20 years
ago, Seconds & Co.
have carved out a niche
market supplying
everyone from the end
user to large builder's
merchants chains and
distributors with
manufacturers' seconds
in Kingspan rigid foam
insulation boards.

From our small
beginnings, selling
25,000 square metres a
year, the business has
grown hugely, and we
now sell over 600,000
square metres of
insulation boards a year.

We offer a nationwide delivery service on any
quantity. The only stipulation is that small
quantities will sometimes take longer to get
to you.

Technical advice is available from people who
have spent over 40 years in total in the
insulation industry, and 20 years dealing
solely in seconds rigid foam. We've seen
nearly every application.

Price differentials between first quality and
seconds can be anything between 10% and
60% depending on quantity, thickness,
quality and faces.

There are obviously
different qualities from
the best although
some 80% of our stock
comes under the 'best'
classification. Lower
grades will have more
edge damage.

We do however sell by
the square metre, and
whatever grade, we
always make sure you
have enough good
board to do your job.

We have huge stocks
of all types of rigid foam
boards and in certain
cases we will be the
only people to have
small quantities of
certain products in
stock and ready to go.

Boards are classed as
seconds for a number
of cosmetic reasons.

The best quality
seconds may have
slight tapering on the
edge, folds in the foil
face or a very slight
bow. Many are trial
runs, written-off stock
or boards purchased
from sites by ourselves
due to over ordering.

Delivery normally within 5 working days from Stirling to most of mainland Scotland. Some Highland addresses might take longer.
We do not deliver to the islands although we will deliver to the nearest port so that you can arrange onward delivery.
